The Challenges of Traditional and Modern Values in Educational Management
For Vietnam regional conference, Hanoi, 1997 11 pp.
- Panel Response: Premises for Inter-Faith Dialogue
For Griffith University Inter-Faith Center Conference," Weaving Cultural Solidarity and Harmony," Brisbane, 2005, 4 pp.
Griffiths University hosted an inter-faith symposium soliciting different perspectives on the necessary harmony to achieve world peace. Ironically this is one speech I never gave, though it was distributed and much appreciated afterwards. When it was my turn to speak, I felt impelled to lay out more clearly the premises for interfaith dialogue which distinguishes between a belief system, a moral code (largely common to all and the basis for harmonious collaboration), and outward expression of the first two, often ritual imbedded in culture and history.
